Programs:Executive Education Programs In addition to our Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate Program, the Center designs and delivers customized training programs for nonprofit organizations and boards, membership associations, foundations and community collaborative initiatives. Examples of customized programs include: Advancing Latina Leaders in Nonprofits: CPNL partnered with the National Hispana Leadership Institute to provide a three-day nonprofit leadership training, funded by American Express, as part of the first annual Advancing Latina Leaders in Nonprofits (ALL IN) Program. Aiming to preapre emerging Latina professionals to take on leadership roles within the nonprofit sector, the program's first class included twenty-two participants, ages 24-34 from across the country. National Hispana Leadership Institute 2010 Photo on Right. District of Columbia – At the invitation of the District of Columbia Mayor’s Office, the Center provided financial management training for local nonprofit graduates of the Strengthening Partners Initiative of the Mayor’s Office of Partnerships and Grants Development.   Harry S. Truman Foundation – As part of the Truman Scholar Leadership Week in Washington, DC, the Center designed a learning experience to expose the Scholars to the work of nonprofits, leaders in the field, and volunteer and career opportunities.   International Monetary Fund – The Center provided members of the International Monetary Fund’s Community Outreach and Grants Program with training in current trends and practices related to grant proposal evaluation. Jessie Ball duPont Fund Executive Institutes –  In a partnership with the Jessie Ball duPont Fund in Jacksonville, Florida, the Center provides customized Executive Institutes for the foundation's 152 grantees.  Through the Institutes, executive directors, board members and senior staff strengthen their leadership skills and develop new strategies to address the needs of their organizations and those they serve. Jessie Ball duPont Fund Executive Director Board Chair Leadership Institute 2010 Photo on Right.                                Parents Circle-Families Forum – In an ongoing partnership between  Georgetown University and the PCFF, the Center provides capacity-building training and support.  The regionally-based PCFF assists bereaved Israeli and Palestinian families in an effort to promote reconciliation. Qatar Foundation, Reach Out to Asia – On March 2-3, 2008, the Center ran a Nonprofit Leadership & Management Training for the staff of the Qatar Foundation’s Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) program.  ROTA, founded in 2005, focuses primarily on community development projects in Asia with specific emphasis on promoting global responsibility for basic, quality primary education.  Our program was customized to address the skills gaps identified by the organization’s staff and give them tools to help ROTA develop high-impact programs.   United Way of America – In partnership with the United Way of America and the Center for Lobbying in the Public Interest, we offer a series of Public Policy Engagement Institutes for CEOs and senior staff of UWA’s affiliate organizations. Working with faculty coaches, participants design public policy implementation plans for their respective organizations.
