Customized Programs
In partnership with Prosperity Now, the Center developed a comprehensive program to strengthen the sustainability and impact of nonprofits led by people of color, serving people of color, in Miami, New Orleans, Baltimore and Chicago. The program was funded by JPMorgan Chase. CPNL provided a Train-the-Trainer NGO Strengthening Program for the first NGO Management Certificate in Panama. The first class and sponsors of the Certificate are pictured above. In the Executive Director Board Chair Leadership Institute designed for the grantees of the Jessie Ball duPont Fund, participants strengthen their leadership skills and develop new strategies to address the needs of their organizations and those they serve.
The Center develops customized training programs for foundations, international organizations, national nonprofit associations, and other nonprofits and government entities. The programs range from management institutes for organizational teams, to leadership development for emerging leaders, to customized management training for foundation staff. Each program is designed through a process consisting of a needs assessment, goal and outcome setting, and curriculum customization. Evaluation and follow-up support of participants are essential elements of our program designs.
