Partnerships

To bring together the vibrant network of scholars, practitioners and organizations at Georgetown, the Center has established partnerships across campus to foster the cross-sector dialogue and collaboration that are key to a comprehensive education. We currently have partnerships with:

Office of Community Engagement – The Office of Community Engagement helps to fulfill Georgetown’s commitment to the common good in the District of Columbia and the metropolitan region. The office supports the university’s growth and economic development efforts, including master planning; facilitates and develops relationships with community organizations, local governments, and civic organizations; supports community-based research and scholarship; and strengthens the university’s partnership with our neighbors.

Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching & Service – In order to advance justice and the common good, CSJ promotes and integrates community-based research, teaching and service by collaborating with diverse partners and communities.

Center for Intercultural Education and Development – Since 1981, CIED has been recognized as a leader in educational exchange programs for people around the world ranging from youth to senior business and public policy officials. CIED programs tap the distinguished academic resources of the University and the Center’s more than 35 years’ expertise in educational experiences that forge intercultural understanding.
