Johnson's War on Poverty and March 20th Issue Forum
Posted in News Story
The Center for Public & Nonprofit Leadership’s Senior Fellow, Pablo Eisenberg, has written a paper titled, “Johnson’s War on Poverty,” to reflect on the impact of these historic policies and how they have shaped the nonprofit sector today. His paper provides important background and context for the discussion we are hosting on March 20th, DC & The War on Poverty: Then, Now & the Future.
Please read Eisenberg’s paper by clicking here and RSVP for the March 20th Issue Forum.
We look forward to a frank discussion on the War on Poverty’s complicated legacy in D.C., today’s demographic shifts, and the implications for our city’s low-income residents in the future.
